Howdy folks!

Here's a rather detailed guide on how exactly the new mob stacking system works.

I'm going to keep the coding and config jargon to a minimum, but I will include examples where needed.

Let's get going!

Mob/Entity Stacking:
- Each Mob now has a unique configuration that can have various aspects tweaked with it

- Let's go over cave spiders.

- We can see we have an enable feature, which will tell the plugin to either stack cave spiders or completely ignore them. We can change the display name to be a different font or different name entirely. We have a minimum and maximum stack size (currently set to be infinite), an option to change how stack death works, a merge radius (also currently infinite), and some other settings.
- We also have a function where changing the name of a mob will prevent it from being clumped into the stack.

Now, let's say we want to change some specific values to match a behavior we want.
- I have a super laggy cave spider spawner farm that's just full of spiders. But I don't want them all to turn into one single stack of thousands of spiders. I want to set a single stack limit of 50.
- I also want to have the stacking check happen within a certain radius. That way I can have a steady stream of spiders, without having that stream delayed because they decided to stack further back or away from my killing area.

- So now we can see our limits come into affect. We will have spiders stack in groups no larger than 50, and it will only stack mobs that are within 4 blocks of each other. And mobs further away than 4 will be ignored in the stacking check.

- Additionally, if that limit is every lowered, the plugin will check if stacks higher than the max exist. If they do, it will split them up automatically.

The exact same system works for items on the ground.

Current Stacking Rules for Various Mobs:
- Blaze/Breeze: Max Stacks of 300, infinite stacking range
- Wolf/Cat: Completely disabled stacking
- Iron Golems: Max Stacks of 55, stacking range of 7 blocks.

Stack Deaths and What it Does:
- So this is fairly straight forward, if one entity dies in the stack, the ENTIRE stack dies, and the loot drops are calculated accordingly.

This isn't exclusive to all deaths types available in Minecraft. I have carefully established certain conditions to which a entire stack will die.

Current Conditions with scenarios:

Fall: If stacked entities take too much fall damage and die, the entire stack will die. Loot may not be dropped, as fall death conditions do not exist for most mob loot tables.
Entity Attack: If an entity attacks the stack, like a player, animal, or frog, the entire stack will die and loot will be calculated based on the stack size.
Lava: If an entity dies in lava, the whole stack will die and drop loot accordingly.
Wither: If an entity dies to the wither affect, the whole stack will die and drop loot accordingly.
Entity Sweep Attack: Same as the entity attack, but is intended to be a failsafe for multiple stacks present in a grinder.
Custom: Any custom damage from Custom Enchants or added damage multipliers should be recognized and adjusted. Added as a failsafe.

Final Remarks:

Please note that any specific changes needing to be specific mobs or stacking behaviors can be made on the fly and will take affect very quickly.

If anyone has any adjustments needing to be made for certain oversights, feel free to reach out to staff.

Howdy everyone!

Here are the big changes awaiting you for Season 1!
We will go under a two-three hour maintenance period starting from around 7AM EST and lasting until 10AM EST tomorrow Friday May 22.

At 2:30pm EST, we will open up the End Dimension for all players to use!

Survival Additions:
- Added Jobs plugin.
- Added AuraSkills plugin.
 - This plugin is taking the place of MCMMO. You will notice this plugin is more involved and has more options with skills and rewards for said skills.
- Added Orders plugin.
- Added SellChests.
- Added Upgradable Hoppers AKA Chunk Hoppers.
- Enabled Auto Kill Feature for Spawners.

Upcoming Additions for Survival:
- BattlePass Plugin (we need a bit more time to go over EULA compliance with premium access/make custom menus for it all).
- Dungeons. We will be adding 3 new dungeons for players to fight through. Fair warning, team work will be necessary for certain dungeons.

Discord Changes:
- We've added a ticket feature, which will allow staff to quickly address reports and other urgent issues.
- The punishment appeal process will still be handled here.

Howdy folks!

I wanted to make this changelog update to go over some recent changes here on Rebirth!

Survival Changes:
- Added rank upgrade options in /coinshop for player ranks.
- Updated Rebirth, Crown, Ascension and Tide Crates with new loot.
- Researching more refined ways to curb TPS lag and farm impact on server.

Coming Changes:
- We're close to wrapping up our final changes to the new dungeons coming to Season 1. If you're interested in becoming a Beta Tester, please reach out to me via DMs. Patron members will have priority.
- We are going to adding plenty of plugins for S1 to improve your experience!

This one is short and sweet, but there will be more detailed posts as we near S1's release this Saturday, May 23!

Changelog Update 0.0.4.5 about 1 month ago

Howdy everyone!

I apologize for the lack of update posts, a lot have been going on personally for me and I've now been able to sit down at my computer and do some work!

Here's what's new at RebirthMC!

Survival Changes:
- We've nerfed the Bank interest rates and capacity to curb some of the explosive money gain seen in the first two weeks of launch. This isn't meant to negate the banking system forever, it's just a temporary retraction.
- Implemented Entity Stacking, which affects both Mobs and Items on the ground. Stacks go up 1000 before starting a new stack. Keep that in mind for any farming needs.
- I've tested a Bottle XP plugin on our dev server. It works beautifully and is able to be used with {/expbottle (amount|all)}. This plugin will come into affect after the 6AM Proxy Restart on May 5th, 2026.
- Added Red and Brown mushrooms to the Farming Shop
- We are slowly going to be changing our shop and afk metas to be more active play focused. Afk farms and systems may see some minimal changes within the next week or so as we prepare for the S1 launch.
- I am currently developing BlueMap to pair up with our website here. Stay tuned to following changelogs for more updates on that.
- I am testing out ClaimFlags on our dev server, pending final selection of default and rank based flags to carry over into Survival.
- I have nerfed the amount of spawners per chunk to 9. This is to limit how massive these farms can get, which is a beginning measure for the active play focus.

Discord Changes:
- We will be adding a ticket system to discord soon. This will not replace the established reporting and appeal system, but it will allow for more rapid responses to urgent issues. Tickets should be used for questions not answerable in our rules, urgent staff summoning, or last resort player reports and appeals.

Feel free to reply here or shoot me a DM with any questions you may have!
